Flag Football: Game 6

Today was so cold that even though the weather was ok it was just too cold and windy to be outside so we were in gym again today. Both Arowyn & Teagan were pumped that they both had a chance to run with the ball today. What a great end to a fun season.

the way to the ground (I think he might of been 

confused about this being flag football and not touch)

 Teagan though takes it like a champ and didn't 

even cry. In fact if you look closely even 

though his eyes are still closed he 

has a slight grin on his face.

Flag Football: Game 5

It was too cold and wet today for our game to be outdoors so we were inside today. Being indoors took a little getting used to because for the first couple of plays everyone was trying to figure out which way they were supposed to be going and what was considered out of bounds and all. But all in all it was a good game today both Arowyn and Teagan got to have a turn being the quarterback and getting to run with the ball, they didn't make it up the field any but they both had fun trying.

Flag Football: Game 4

This week Teagan finally really started getting into the game although almost too enthusiastically. How so you may ask, my answer to you is just look at the pictures. This week we’ll be working on how to strike a good balance when blocking how much contact is too much contact.

Flag Football: Game 3

Today’s flag football game went well. Everyone on the team is starting to really get a grasp of the concepts and they are all really starting to work like a team. It’s nice to know that our work this week at home paid off. Arowyn’s favorite position seems to be that of the tackle. When their on offense she loves being the one going after the guy with the ball and on defense she was blocking left and right for her quarterback, it was very impressive to watch. Teagan even got to be quarterback for one play, which he was very excited about.
