Our second flag football game was today. It was quite a cold
and blustery day today so I was very glad that we invested in getting the kids
some Underarmour coldweather gear for spending extended periods of time
outside. Unfortunately Teagan’s hasn’t come in yet but at least Arowyn had hers
to wear which is good because she is just so tiny and seems to have absolutely zero
body fat to speak of so she just does not retain heat very well at all, but
with her new gear on she says she kept quite warm. This game seemed to be a
little more organized and a little less chaos this time. Everyone seems to be
getting a better grasp of the game and what they should be doing.
Arowyn concentrating very hard
(notice the tongue) fixing her belt.
Teagan "What's going on here? Am I supposed to be doing something?"
Arowyn setting up for the play
Arowyn blocking and doing her best to intimadate
the players on the red team.
Teagan, "I give up!"
The tongue strikes again
So close!
Teagan's bummed he didn't get it.
Arowyn trying to keep up with the quarterback.
Having a good time.
(I just love the look of absolute joy on Arowyn's face in this one)
The coach goes over the play with them.
Arowyn doing her best to block for her quarterback.
The end of game good show pep talk.
